Originally from La Ronge, SK, Kiara moved to Saskatoon to pursue post-secondary education. She began working for Troutreach in 2016 as a research assistant on the tiger beetle project in the Douglas Provincial Park sand dunes. Kiara completed her Bachelors of Science in Statistics at the University of Saskatchewan in 2018 and currently works as a data analyst in the software industry.

In her free time, she still volunteers with Troutreach on various projects and thoroughly enjoys the moments spent in the natural world.
