Growing up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Breanne has always had an appreciation for the prairies and the diversity of life it contains. Breanne began her studies at the University of Saskatchewan in 2016 and quickly became passionate about ecology. She is currently in the final year of her undergraduate degree in Environmental Biology.

Breanne began working for Troutreach in 2020 conducting research on the tissue turnover and isotope fractionation of tiger beetles (subfamily Cicindelinae) for her undergraduate thesis. After the completion of her undergraduate degree, Breanne wishes to continue her research career by pursuing a master’s degree.
